Our Programs and Projects

Nigeria is a country with diverse natural habitats, from savannas to forests and aquatic environments. It is also home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including species that are found nowhere else and are under threat. However, the country is facing significant challenges in terms of environmental degradation, biodiversity loss, human-wildlife conflict, desertification, and the impacts of climate change. These challenges have had a negative impact on many livelihoods and the economy, and threaten human well-being. To address these challenges, a multifaceted approach is needed to conserve biodiversity and promote responsible consumption, production, and practices that are in harmony with the natural world. This includes protecting habitats, stopping the illegal trade in wildlife, and educating local communities about the importance of biodiversity and the role it plays in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem.

Community Conservation

We work with local communities to protect wild places through programs that promote conservation and provide training and workshops.

Early Childhood Education

Children are the future of conservation science. We try to catch them young in biodiversity conservation through bird and nature clubs in schools and outdoor

Forest Restoration

A staggering amount of our forest (about 96%) is lost to deforestation. We strive towards bringing back our forest and engage in planning and organizing afforestation programs across the country.

Stop Wildlife Crime

We strive to work closely with Law Enforcement Agencies in stopping wildlife crime and ensuring that justice is served for wildlife.

Marine Conservation

Marine conservation is vital for protecting our oceans and the diverse species that call it home. From coral reefs to dolphins, marine conservation efforts aim to preserve and protect these habitats and animals for future generations

Environmental Policy

We strive to work closely with policymakers in ensuring the enactment of policies that are in no or minimal detriment to biodiversity.
